This feels like a continuation from last night’s post. I couldn’t let all those already die cut pieces go to waste, so I used them in a similar, but opposite card. Don’t you love it when you can make 2 cards for the work of 1? The same floral die was used but I swapped out the rectangles for an oval die.
A big congrats to Cyndi, the newest Featured Stamper FS943. She has a sweet gallery & my card is based on THIS card of hers. I kept most of the colors & use of the brayer, but I used die cuts instead of a stamped image & left off the texture plate embossing. I also added a couple of layers.
After I made yesterday’s card, I had all these parts left over. The purple mirror card already had the floral cut out of it, so I cut it again using the biggest Dot Dash Oval & put the rainbow colored outline inside it. I used a white pearl card stock to put behind it then a narrow border of the rainbow brayered background before attaching it to the largest purple mirror bg. I had the outline of the little flower left, too. It was painted w/ the glitter nail polish & since I wasn’t able to get the nail polish to fill in the petal openings, I cut some petals from the left over rainbow bg. The colors look very tropical to me. Like a vacay to Hawaii!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
