This is a clean and simple card using some pretty papers all in shades of green. I love these colors..not green green, but not teal, either. It’s just fresh, sagey green that soothes the eye. Add some fancy borders and a big, delicate Hello and you’re done. All you need is the paper and 2 die sets (plus a plain rectangle die).
For the Inspiration Challenge IC1005, we are visiting Raixy & their Pinterest Board. It’s a clothing store & I was inspired by the fabric of THIS dress. It was a dead ringer for the leafy print I had so I built my card around it.
The card is pretty easy. I used the same plain rectangle die to cut the printed paper & the lighter shade of green. The darker green was cut slightly larger. Then I used the larger edge die on the print & lightest green. The smaller edge was used on a narrow strip of the print. After arranging them, I cut off the tops to make shorter panels then slipped the print strip under the lighter green, on top of the darker green. The big Hello was cut & stacked twice as was the lighter green shadow behind it.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
