I have a very clean and simple card today. Perfect for a friend as a thank you, or thinking of you, or just to say hi. It features a pretty floral image and big block letters for the greeting. It’s actually much longer but I used just some of the words. Since the lines are individual, it was easy to just use what I wanted. Some simple framing and it’s done!
A big congrats to Andrea, the newest Featured Stamper FS944. The first thing I noticed about her gallery is she has a lot of lovely Christmas cards, with a few others. A lot of great ideas there! I chose THIS card to case. I kept the pink flowers and clean layout, but I used different images, dies & added a deckle frame.
After coloring & die cutting the flowers, I used a deckle frame die to cut out the white frame & also a piece of card board to elevate it off of the background. It seemed like it needed something, so I cut a slightly smaller frame out of a mauve pink using a couple of plain rectangle dies. The greeting was split & I only used part of it. The flowers were popped up on foam in order to have them level w/ the frame.
Here are the Copics I used:
Thanks so much for stopping by!
