  • Hello Panda

A fun panda in a pocket card backed w/ some pretty monochromatic paper & using some lovely scalloped frames. With the different frames, it looks like you worked really hard, but it’s really easy & not much coloring.

It’s my turn to host the Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoast (IC948) and we’re visiting Doodle & Stitch & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS cute picture.

After stamping, lightly coloring & die cutting the panda & pocket, I die cut the white frame & the designer paper using two of the outside scallop frame dies. The grey frame was die cut w/ an inside scallop die. I really like how they fit & work together. I used a peach card stock for the pocket, but couldn’t find a larger piece for the narrow border under the monochromatic paper, so I used a Copic marker to color just the border that would show.

The panda & the pocket were popped up just a bit since the edges go over the gray frame. Two hearts were die cut (but not stamped) out of the same paper & added on the pocket.
    Here are the Copics I used (sorry it’s blurry..the colors are C2, C3, R20 & R22).

    Thanks
    so much for stopping by!

  • Bear Hugs

A cute, fun card with 4 fancy windows for adding different images. Perfect for a Valentine card, especially for a best friend or your favorite kids, grandkids or neighbor kids.

A big congrats to Sherri, the newest Favorite Stamper (FS884)! She has a beautiful scrapbook gallery & I chose THIS page to case. I kept the Beary theme and divided layout, but used stamps instead of photos & made mine a Valentine card.

My little Valentine uses some new, soon to be released images. I die cut the 4 window once out of red & once in white. The little white insets were stamped w/ the images & colored. The little heart candy box, envelope & open card were done separately & cut out. The greeting was stamped on a narrow strip & attached across the middle of the red frame.

I added another layer behind the red frame to elevate it just a bit from the inset images.

  • Snowman Wishes

A winter snowman card inside a mini purple polaroid frame with snowflakes and pretty wintry paper. All in cool winter colors and a couple of adorable little birdies make a fun, winter card you can use for a birthday or thank you card.

A big congrats to Lou Ann, the newest Featured Stamper (FS883)! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & snowman theme but used different images, dies & colors.

After coloring & die cutting my cute little snowman, I put him inside a mini purple polaroid frame & added a couple of snowflakes. The white layer was first stamped w/ lt blue snowflakes & instead of a separate greeting piece, I put it on this layer. The layer behind is a piece of winter paper I thought was perfect for my card.
