Spooky Town

It’s just a few days from Fall & some of the leaves are starting to turn. It’s also a great time to get some Halloween cards made. This new Spooky Town and Midnight Mischief paper pads are just made for each other. Add a frame, a purple tree and a spooky owl and you have a complete card.

For the Inspiration Challenge IC1033, we are visiting The Blue Peony & their Pinterest Board. THIS inspired my card. (This spooky town set & paper are a sneak peek of some new items being released on 9/24 & we’re having an IG Hop w/ prizes on that Wednesday morning. You can get there by clicking my LINKabout 9 am EDT on 9/24.)

To make my card, I die cut all the little spooky houses out of gray, lavender, purple, black & some scraps of orange for the pumpkins, and yellow for behind the windows. Then it was just a matter of mix & match for putting them together. I didn’t want them to look too pristine, so there’s a slight tilt to a couple of them. The tree and owl were also die cut & put together. The gray frame was cut just shy of the card front size & I used a deckle rectangle to cut out the inside. It’s popped up a little, as is the tree & owl. The scene is attached to one of sheets in the paper pack. The pumpkins & ghosts were added. I left off the bats since there are bats already in the paper.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!
