Cake Meeting

Need a reason for cake? Without cake, it’s just a meeting. These tasty looking desserts are enough to make anyone come running. This set is retiring soon, so I wanted to use it one more time. It’s still available & for a great price. You’re sure to get a lot of use out of this set for all your upcoming birthdays.

A big congrats to Katy, the newest Featured Stamper FS970! She has lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout, cake theme & use of designer paper. But I used different images, dies, paper & colors.

After coloring & die cutting the sweet desserts, I die cut a dash dot oval & black heat embossed the greeting on the left side. I added a plain cornflower blue oval behind it. The white confetti paper was cut with the largest dash dot rectangle & I used a smaller plain rectangle to cut the blue bg. One of the classic edge die was cut across the top of the blue confetti paper & it was attached on top of the white. A narrow cornflower blue layer was added behind the confetti paper. The cake & cupcake are popped up a layer.

Here are the Copics I used:
