Congrats to Emma, the newest Featured Stamper (FS770) on Splitcoast! She has a beautiful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I kept the pencil/Copic on kraft & CAS design, but I used different images & dies & made mine a Christmas card.

I started by stamping the cute snowman & using his matching die to cut out a mask for him out of copy paper. After masking, I stamped the tree behind him & the present in his hand. I used Copics, for the most part, to color everything, but accented the snowman & snow on the ground & tree using a white Prisma pencil. The snowflakes were white embossed so they’d really show up. The greeting was stamped & I used a white gel pen to add the “snow” on top of the letters. This card didn’t take much time & since it’s flat & all on one layer, it will definitely be mailable.

Here are the Copics I used:

Welcome to April!  And it’s time for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club April  Christmas Challenge! We have a year of new Christmas Challenges!  You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself. Hint..I’m really loving the new theme for this year. This post should have been up on April 1st, so I’m a little late.

For my snowman Christmas card, after coloring & die cutting the snowman & presents, I popped them up a bit on a stitched oval then added the stamped greeting on a strip underneath. The blue paper was attached behind them & I added some stickles to all the centers of the snowflakes on the paper.

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper challenge this week, so a big congrats to France, the newest Featured Stamper (FS724)! I chose THIS card to case. I loved the mirror reflection so I kept that, but I used different images & dies & made mine a Christmas card.

For my card, I stamped, colored & die cut the cute snowman, then stamped him again, using masking tape to cover up the areas inside of his outline. I wanted it to look like I was viewing him from the back as he gazes in the mirror. The mirror was die cut out of mirror silver card & put into a white frame then surrounded by a red glitter scallop frame.

The split background is made of a leftover piece of red glitter embossed diagonal stripe & on the top half, I stamped red snowflakes.
