This is a fun Christmas card, complete with decorated deer, a tree farm and a forest of trees in the background, Except for the stamped sign, it is entirely die cut so everything can be customized to use other colors if you prefer. The only color added was a little white pencil on the deer.
For the Inspiration Challenge IC1029, we are visiting Lamps Plus & their Pinterest Boards. THIS lamp shade was my inspiration,
To make my card, I die cut the buck out of a couple of shades of tan & the eyes, nose & hooves out of dk brown. The doe & fawn are from another set & were die cut out of the same 2 tan shades. I cut some extra noses & eyes from the buck die to add to them. The Tree Farm & brick columns were die cut out of Kraft. The bricks have their own die & were cut out of dk, brown, ivory & tan & pieced on top of the columns. I used 3 shades of green for the trees in the background. After determining where to place the trees & attaching them, I used a white spray mister to spritz the trees with snow, Then the columns & sign were attached, followed by the deer family. Everything but the trees was popped up for dimension. The buck was popped up more on the right side to even him out.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
