Merry Mittens

Need a cheerful Christmas card that’s easy to put together? This would fit the bill. Except for the stamped greeting, it’s all die cut. Don’t you love the texture on the mittens? Swap out the greeting & colors for a blue, wintry version. Make a bunch at one sitting by die cutting all the pieces & putting them together.

Since this is the 5th week of the month for the FS Challenge (FS1021), we are revisiting some past recipients. We had a choice of FS204, FS205 or FS206. I chose FS204, Marissa (whiterockmama) & THIS card to case. I kept the Christmas theme, colors & bow on top. But I used different dies, used a large snowflake paper tag & my bow is also die cut instead of ribbon.

To make my Merry Mittens, I die cut all the parts & a lg tag out of the snowflake paper. I used a deckle rectangle to make a strip out of the tan & then ran it thru a paper crimper before attaching the die cut greeting. A snowflake & shadow were added on top of the tag along w/ a die cut bow. After the red & white mittens were paper pieced, it was all put together.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!
