Congrats to Kathy, the newest Featured Stamper (FS622) on Splitcoast! She has a fabulous gallery & there were many I wanted to case, but I chose THIS wonderful coffee themed card. I kept the coffee theme & most of the layout, but used different images & dies & slightly different colors.

For my card, I printed out the digital image & colored it. Originally, the bg wasn’t supposed to be a slightly rosy color, but I had a little accident w/ a Copic so I had to do something! The greeting was printed out on the pink check paper then I added the ribbon, other layers & some flower shaped sequins.

Here’s a look at the inside (again, printed out) & also the Copic I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Supplies:

Stamps: From the Heart Stamps – Coffee Birdbrain (digital)
Paper: Staples 110# white, dp (Essential Prints)
Ink: none
Accessories:   Rubbernecker Rectangle Stitch & Tag Stitch dies sequins, ribbon

This is for another Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. For all the details of the DTGD challenges, go HERE…but you’ll need to be a Fan Club member.

I finally finished a background I could live with for Lydia’s DTGD challenge. There are still several fails hanging around. And since the Free for All Challenge on Friday was birds, I colored this digi image & added it along w/ a greeting stamped on a chat bubble die cut.
Here’s the inside & the Copics I used for the bird.

Supplies:

Stamps: From the Heart Stamps – Innertube Birdbrain (digital), Serendipity StampsUplifting Words (inside: Serendipity Stamps: Sending Smiles )
Paper: Staples 110# white, water color

Accessories:  Lil’ Inker stitched rectangles dies, MFT stitched arch dies, watercolors, fine tip sharpie, Penny Black chat bubbles dies, clear sequins

This was for another DTGD Challenge, the Color Challenge & also the Fan Club Christmas Challenge.

I used Copic markers & a gold Krylon on glossy paper to make my bg layer & the poinsettia petals. The greeting was stamped onto the brushed gold w/ the warm violet ink & heat embossed w/ a transparent sparkly powder. Then all I did was put it all together.
Here’s the inside.

Supplies:

Stamps: Serendipity Stamps: Merry x3, Christmas (inside: Have Yourself )
Paper:  white glossy, brushed gold
Ink: Colorbox warm violet chalk ink, Copic markers
Accessories:  ODBD Pierced Rectangles,Peaceful Poinsettias, Merry Mosaics  dies, Memory Box poinsettia ribbon die, Copic markers, stardust embossing powder, Krylon gold pen, gold brads

Knit Happens! Yes m’am,  it does…and if you like to have some wine while you knit..well..it won’t be pretty. Just sayin’. Anyway, these are the colors for today’s Color Challenge (CC624) on Splitcoast. Daffodil, garden green & blackberry. And it seems I have a slight aversion to the blackberry. It’s an odd color, hard to work with & harder to match. The only think that came to mind was this cute little digi & I figured I’d delegate the troublesome color to the ground area.
After printing it out, I colored it then die cut it. The dk purple bg (closest I could come to the blackberry color) was embossed w/ a knit pattern folder & it was pretty much done.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used. This is going to one of my knitty friends who also happens to like my cards 😛
