This is for another Dare to Get Dirty Challenge. For all the details of the DTGD challenges, go HERE…but you’ll need to be a Fan Club member.

I finally finished a background I could live with for Lydia’s DTGD challenge. There are still several fails hanging around. And since the Free for All Challenge on Friday was birds, I colored this digi image & added it along w/ a greeting stamped on a chat bubble die cut.
Here’s the inside & the Copics I used for the bird.

Supplies:

Stamps: From the Heart Stamps – Innertube Birdbrain (digital), Serendipity StampsUplifting Words (inside: Serendipity Stamps: Sending Smiles )
Paper: Staples 110# white, water color
Ink:Memento tuxedo black, Versafine Clair nocturne
Accessories:  Lil’ Inker stitched rectangles dies, MFT stitched arch dies, watercolors, fine tip sharpie, Penny Black chat bubbles dies, clear sequins

This was for another DTGD Challenge, the Color Challenge & also the Fan Club Christmas Challenge.

I used Copic markers & a gold Krylon on glossy paper to make my bg layer & the poinsettia petals. The greeting was stamped onto the brushed gold w/ the warm violet ink & heat embossed w/ a transparent sparkly powder. Then all I did was put it all together.
Here’s the inside.

Supplies:

Stamps: Serendipity Stamps: Merry x3, Christmas (inside: Have Yourself )
Paper:  white glossy, brushed gold
Ink: Colorbox warm violet chalk ink, Copic markers
Accessories:  ODBD Pierced Rectangles,Peaceful Poinsettias, Merry Mosaics  dies, Memory Box poinsettia ribbon die, Copic markers, stardust embossing powder, Krylon gold pen, gold brads

It’s my turn to host the Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge (FS508) so a big congrats to Jeanne, aka Penny627! She has such a wonderful gallery & after much browsing, I chose THIS to case. I didn’t have a cute little Halloween girl, but I had a cute little Christmas girl. So I kept the basic layout & circle element, but I used different images, different colors & since there isn’t a die for this cutie, I did a complicated out of the box/into the window for her.

Sigh…I’m not gonna lie..it took me quite a while to color this lovely, then it took me longer to figure out how I was going to handle her, since she’s a bit bigger than I thought when I ordered her. To make the circle opening, after a lot of consideration, I traced around the smallest Grand circle die & used a craft knife to cut away the area around her that fell inside the circle. I used the same circle along w/ the largest of the regular circle dies to cut the silver glitter layer & put it behind her. The card started out to be 5.5″ square, but I just felt uneasy w/ it, so I cut it down to fit A2 & added just a touch of snowflake embossing on the lower corners & strips of the silver glitter on either side. It changed the look a bit, but I like the partial circle a lot better. I added a die cut Joy out of the silver glitter above the Happy Holidays that is part of the red designer paper I used to back the image.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the many Copics I used.
