An easy to make Christmas Wreath card featuring a large stamped wreath which is colored in using a 4 part stencil. There is also a matching die to cut it out, making it a really quick project. You can make a stack of these in almost no time at all.

It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge, so a big congrats to Lisa! She has a marvelous gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout but used different images, dies & colors and made mine a Christmas card.

My large wreath was stamped & the colors were sponged in using a 4 pt stencil & some Color Fuse inks. There is a matching die for this, but I already had the 2 circles cut & decided to use them instead. I put the greeting on the smaller one & popped it up on top of the wreath & added some little red rhinestones.

I had the dk red strip but it was a little too long, so I cut it first w/ a mini slimline layer then used the pierced cover die on it before attaching my circles on top.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  • All is Calm

A monochromatic winter scene Christmas card, all stamped on one layer and parts of the scene were cut into the window and a piece of hand marbled paper inserted inside, with the greeting & a Christmas star stamped on top.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC936), we are visiting the Christmas Shop & their Pinterest Board where I chose THIS picture for my inspiration.

For my little winter scene, I stamped the trees onto a white panel, using denim ink. On the lighter trees, I stamped the image off once before stamping it onto the card stock. The darker trees were stamped twice (using the Misti) w/ the same ink, full strength. I wanted the deer a little darker so I used Versaclair medieval blue. I used my into the window die cutting technique to cut the opening in the scene. The framed scene part was spritzed w/ some white shimmer spray & I added a little more “snow” w/ a white Posca pen. The outside frame was popped up then I inserted a piece of hand marbled paper w/ the greeting & Christmas star stamped on top of it.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

  • Joy to the World

A Christmas card with a diagonal split front using a new set and coordinating stencil, making it easy and quick to add color to the images. A matching die is great if you want to add some dimension or layer it onto a different background.

A big congrats to Korimu, the newest Featured Stamper (FS874)! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the layout & divided front panel, but I used different images & dies, different colors & made mine a Christmas card.

For my joyful bells, I stamped the image then used the coordinating stencil & the Color Fuse inks to sponge in the colors. It has a matching die, but I didn’t use it here. I took 2 leaf dies from a floral frame set & used them to cut the edge on a diagonal. After placing my panel on top of a larger green one, I positioned all the cut out leaf branches in place. I did some minor surgery on a couple of them to keep them from covering part of my greeting.

I replaced the stamped Joy of the greeting w/ a die cut Joy to help bring some of the red into the corner & also help balance out the image, size wise, & not seem top heavy on the upper right.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
