Hello everyone and welcome to Our Daily Bread design’s Aug 1 release blog hop! If you came from Dawn Lusk’s blog, you are in the right place, if not or if you get lost along the way or any links are broken, just return to the ODBD Blog for the full list of links! We hope you enjoy this months sets as much as we do!!!
For my card, I stamped the sunflowers, colored them with markers and used the out of the box Nestie technique and a labels 8 to cut it out. It’s matted on a larger black layer. For the next layer, I used some fancy edge scissors, called sunflower, to trim around the rectangle, then sponged ink on the edges. The grid background was done by covering the white c/s with some drywall mesh then sponging yellow and orangey inks over it. After removing the mesh, you get this wonderful grid pattern. I added a narrow black border (also trimmed w/ the scissors) near the edge of my 5.5 x 4.25 white card. A checkered bow and Happy Fall tag finished the card.
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my project today. From here, hop over to Connie McCotter’s blog to be inspired and blessed!
