Congrats to Carolyn, the newest Featured Stamper  (FS521) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery & I really fell for THIS one. I liked the matching border & embossing folder but since I don’t have any like that, I used a different folder, different image & made mine monochromatic instead of rainbow colors.

My winter card has a white background embossed w/ a folder that has the dots on top & snowflakes below. The folder has a blank band in between the two, but it’s covered up by my image panel. The image was stamped w/ the navy blue ink onto a stitched panel & I added just strips of the dk blue card stock on top & bottom. Only the first part of the greeting was stamped on a white circle & backed w/ a dk blue stitched circle. Just a little stickles was added on the trees for some winter sparkle.

Here’s the inside…I must apologize for how blotchy it looks. I was anxious to get it in the mail & already wrote a message inside before I took the picture. The picture suffers some from photo editing to try to blot it out, lol.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to the January Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!

If you arrived here from Miriam’s blog, you’re in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first.

The Prize – One $20 gift code will go to one random commenter from the blogs. So be sure  to visit all the blogs because you don’t know which one the winner will be drawn from. You have through SundayJan 22  to leave comments on the blogs for a chance to win. Mary will announce a winner on Jan 23 on her Blog.  Each month a different image is 50% off. This month- it’s the Winter Wear & Winter Fun Backgrounds! On the first & third Wednesdays of every month., we’ll be celebrating with a Blog Hop!

To make my Valentine card, I had a tag and little strip of water color background & thought the colors would be perfect for Valentine’s Day. I also had a little piece of white w/ the negative (left over part) of a die cut & trimmed the bottom to fit the tag; just to dress it up a bit. The Mini Scallop & Scroll dies were cut out of a paint chip I found w/ colors that went w/ my watercolor tag. One of the colors was “Coral Kiss” & I thought that went as well, so I left it. The little hearts were cut out using the Love die & the top 3/4 of the white panel was embossed w/ a woodgrain folder to add a little texture.

Here’s a look at the inside.

Please be sure to comment on all the DT Blogs..it will be so appreciated & also increase your chances of winning!

This was also inspired by the Inspiration Challenge (IC678) & THIS is the picture/colors that inspired me.
    wonderland-00215
To make my Wonderland card, I stamped the Winter Fence Line, masked off the bottom, put a circle mask for the moon & sponged in the pink & lilac for the sky. I used Copics to color the shadows on the snow then added snow in the sky & on the trees w/ a white gel pen. After die cutting the lilac & purple layers, the greeting was white embossed under the window.  I attached the scene behind the window then added the die cut snowflakes & a little stickles on the snow in the trees.

Here’s a look at the inside…more sponging & the same fence line was stamped w/ the lilac ink. Below it are the Copics I used.
