For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge, we’re visiting a Window Display Pinterest Board, where I found THIS display for my inspiration.
To make my mini slimline card, I started by putting the outline of the flower image into my Misti & stamping it w/ black. Instead of removing the outline & replacing it w/ the different layers of the image, I left the outline in place & moved the image to another corner where I stamped the different layers in blues & teals. When dry, I moved it back under the outline image, stamped it w/ the Versaclair nocturne & clear embossed the outline. Usually I’d tend to do the embossing first, but I know sometimes the raised lines will interfere w/ the solid layers getting all the way to the edges. I repeated this w/ another large flower, 2 small flowers & the leaves, then die cut them all. The white panel was die cut first w/ the nested stitch mini slimline die, then w/ the triple panel stitch inset. On a lt blue panel, I used the repeating brick stencil & some of the lt teal inks to make the brick bg. This was also die cut w/ the triple window inset & the greeting stamped in the far right window. I popped the white panel up a bit & attached the blue brick insets inside, directly on the card front. The flowers (some also popped up) were added along w/ some gems.
Thanks so much for stopping by!Â
