A colorful card made with papers leftover from inking & sponging. The background is acrylic paint smoosh from a gel plate press & the leaves are all die cut from the scrap paper I used underneath my inking & spongings & sprayings.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC941) we are visiting the Daydreamerie & their Pinterest Board where I found THIS lovely picture.

For my card, I used a background I made w/ acrylic paint & a gel plate. By itself, it wasn’t that impressive but it worked out well for my background. The leaves were die cut out of scrap sheets I place under my work when I’m sponging, inking or spraying. Some of them turn out so pretty that I save them. I glued a couple of these to card stock then die cut them. I like the bright, random colors against the dark background. The greeting was stamped w/ white ink & heat embossed w/ white powder. Then I used a clear, sparkly shine spray over the whole front. It has a very nice shimmer in real life.

Thanks
so much for stopping by!
