Coffee and humor. What could be better first thing in the morning? I believe everyone either is or knows someone who has trouble BC (before coffee) in the mornings. I am this person. This would be the perfect card for that coffee lover and maybe stick in a gift card for a free cup.
A big congrats to Loni, the newest Featured Stamper FS973! She has a sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the colors & coffee theme, but used a big die cut instead of a little stamped image, moved the greeting to its own panel & added designer paper.
To make my card with the lack of coffee impairment greeting, I die cut the big coffee cup & paper pieced it. I ran the ivory band thru the paper crimper but it flattened a bit when I attached it. I die cut 2 sizes of the new Tall Hex dies & used one behind the cup & the other to stamp the greeting on, as well as some coffee drips & ring. I used the same set of drips & rings on the dk brown panel & cut the edges of it w/ an edger die. The cup & greeting are popped up one more layer before being attached to the designer paper & a pumpkin colored mat.
