Boys Toys Birthday

A 2 for 1 card I made at the same time as last week’s motorcycle card. Made an extra motorcycle, so I made a birthday card w/ it, using pretty much all the same supplies.

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC906), we are visiting Belk & their Pinterest Board. I was inspired by THIS item. I made several motorcycles last week & had one left over, so I made another slimline card w/ it.

This card uses pretty much all the same supplies I used in THIS post, except the filmstrip die. While I was making all the motorcycles, I made an extra one. This time it was a little easier since I didn’t have to cut up all the motorcycles. I added a dry embossed copper background & backed it w/ a narrow black layer.

The motorcycle was popped up w/ foam to give it a little dimension,

Here is a handy trick that made putting the bike together a lot easier. I put a piece of sheet protector over the package w/ the bike picture & taped it to my glass mat. Then I assembled the pieces of the bike right on top of the picture.

Since the pkg picture is the exact size, I knew the pieces would all be in the correct places. The sheet protector kept the glue off of the pkg & I was able to wipe it up easily off the sheet protector.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
