Well…today’s Color Challenge  (CC497) is certainly challenging! I doubt that in a million years I would have ever put these color together. So they were definitely a challenge. The other challenging part is that I don’t own these colors (other than a vanilla) so I had to sub with what I had. I do have samples of these colors, so mine are pretty close..which is good since I couldn’t even find any dp in my neglected stash that used these colors. The vanilla doily was already die cut (from another project that didn’t get used) so at least I was ahead w/ that. For the blackberry-like bg, I stamped a pattern that reminded me of a quilt pattern w/ the elderberry ink on top. The yarn and basket were stamped w/ combos of the elderberry & plum inks then die cut.
The greeting is actually a combo of two that I put together then punched w/ a tag punch. A bow w/ just the right color of thread spool button on top was added w/ the tag. The narrow yellow ribbon was colored w/ a Copic to match.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Very pretty Julie. Love the measuring tape ribbon, just perfect for this card. Great background and the images are precious!
Beautiful, Julie! Love the yarn stamped in the purple color. I never would have thought to do that and it actually shows the yarns better! Wonderful design and very creative! Hugs!
