It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS741) this week! So a big congrats to Heather, the newest FS. She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & green (because I LOVE greens), but used different images & dies & made my card a floral instead of a St. Patrick’s Day card.
For my card, after stamping, coloring & die cutting the poppies, I did the stems & leaves & fussy cut them to add them to my white circle. The smaller bg was sponged w/ the lime greens & a little teal on the ends. The larger bg is one I made a while back w/ a die cut & some Brushos, but I wasn’t crazy how it looked alone. But it worked great behind my sponged layer.
Here’s how it looked by itself. See? Nothing to write home about. I took some die cut leaves to use as a mask, then sprinkled the Brushos & spritzed w/ water.
I put the sponged panel into my Misti & stamped w/ the Versaclair then put all my layers together & added a few gems.
Here are the Copics I used for the poppies:

For the Inspiration Challenge (IC799), we’re headed to Homebnc Pinterest Board where I found THIS picture.
On my card, I’m using some new dies & greetings from Rubbernecker Stamps. I first die cut the large pot our of an alcohol ink bg. It’s a little hard to tell, but it’s pretty shiny & metallic in real life. The stems of all the flowers were cut out of a few greens & the flowers were all cut out of white that sponged different pastel colors of ink on to get all the colors. The bg was cut w/ a couple of slimline dies & I placed a larger turquoise layer behind them. To get the inside frame, I cut the white piece twice, using 2 sizes of the die set, then put middle (frame part) back.

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS693)! So a big congrats to Linda, the newest Featured Stamper. Linda has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the embossed dot bg & negative space branch w/ colorful flowers, but I used different stamps & dies & a different embossing folder.
After die cutting the large leaf branch into the layer, I embossed it w/ a folder that has big dots but also a blank bar across the bottom. I thought it would be the perfect area to stamp my greeting. The little daisies were are die cut out of white & sponged w/ the inks. For the green behind the leaves, I stamped it w/ 2 different random dots background images using turquoise inks then added a touch of shading w/ some Prismacolor Pencils before attaching it behind the white cut out layer.
