Today’s Color Challenge (CC547) is turquoise, lt pink & blackberry. I also needed a birthday card for one of my hubby’s sisters so I used the colors in my ice cream card.
After stamping, coloring & fussy cutting the ice cream image, I added it to a textured, stitched oval die cut then to a pink oval. The Boho paper was die cut using the largest Lacey Layered Square die & a resizing technique I came up with way back in 2008 before there were so many sizes of dies available. As long as the die is symmetrical, it works. I used it here to make the square die into a continuous rectangle. The lt pink layer was die cut w/ the largest of the Flourished Star Pattern dies & I used the Pennant dies to cut the greeting flag. Stickles was added to the ice cream & spoon.
Here are the Copics I used:

Today’s Color Challenge (CC543) on Splitcoast is lime, Bermuda Bay & gray. I don’t have much gray card stock on hand, so I dug around in my dp and found a dark charcoal & a gray/white print.
I thought the lime & Bermuda colors would work nicely for a lime sherbet float in a blue/green glass. After putting the image in my Misti, I stamped the ice cream float image first with Memento, colored with Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine. It was die cut with an ODBD stitched oval (w/ a little out of the box on the straw). The Bermuda layer was die cut w/ the ODBD oval dies & I used the A2 matting basics for the the next 2 layers. The greeting was already part of the charcoal dp & the colors were perfect so I used it. I added a ribbon, colored to match & some die cut patterned clouds.

My second tasty treat, started much as my first…stamped, colored & stamped over with Versafine, then I fussy cut it.
The greeting sign was also colored & fussy cut before both were added to the die cut label and then to a larger peachy orange label. I stamped the pennant swag to match the paper I used & die cut with the matching pennant die. I also used one of the greetings to stamp in tone on tone colors on top of the designer paper background. Again, I added stickles for sparkle.
