Today’s Color Challenge (CC547) is turquoise, lt pink & blackberry. I also needed a birthday card for one of my hubby’s sisters so I used the colors in my ice cream card.
After stamping, coloring & fussy cutting the ice cream image, I added it to a textured, stitched oval die cut then to a pink oval. The Boho paper was die cut using the largest Lacey Layered Square die & a resizing technique I came up with way back in 2008 before there were so many sizes of dies available. As long as the die is symmetrical, it works. I used it here to make the square die into a continuous rectangle. The lt pink layer was die cut w/ the largest of the Flourished Star Pattern dies & I used the Pennant dies to cut the greeting flag. Stickles was added to the ice cream & spoon.

Yummy card. I wouldn’t have thought to use DP with a fancy die the way you did. Must keep that in mind.
