This is a fairly quick card for today’s Free for All Challenge (F4A426) & yesterday’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT684) on Splitcoast. The first challenge has us fussy cutting & the second has us including bugs.
To make my card, I stamped the brick wall w/ gray ink then colored it w/ gray Copics. The sky was sponged w/ a self made cloud stencil. I decided it was easier to just stamp Mr. Frog on a separate piece, color him & fussy cut him than try to mask out the wall & the original log the frog sits on. I made a slit along the top of the wall to insert him & make it look like he was leaning on it. The little grass sprigs & ladybug were also fussy cut & added. The greeting was added on a thought/speech bubble along w/ some dragonflies.
Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The theme for today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT626) is “The Eyes Have It”. We are to feature eyes or glasses in some way. So I have this quick little birthday card featuring a trio of frogs. Originally, their glasses were part of snorkel gear, but I cut that part off, leaving them w/ big glasses.
After stamping, coloring & fussy cutting 3 of these frogs, I die cut 3 windows in a white panel & backed it w/ a pale blue panel. It looked a little too bare, so I used a splatter stamp to add the lt blue dots. I also stamped, colored & fussy cut some balloons & party hats (both from the Party Pig image) to add along w/ the greeting to add to the bottom frog.

Today I have a quick card for 3 Splitcoast challenges…F4A329 (reflect weather), WT587 (trash to treasure), and CC586 (green, pool & misty blue).
You can see by my card, that the weather is cloudy & overcast. The trash to treasure item is the little black bow..it came off of a pkg & I saved it from the trash. Seriously, on my best ribbon tying day (if there is such a thing… ribbon & I have a long standing love/hate relationship..I love ribbon, it hates me!), I could NEVER tie a bow that small. To make my card, I stamped w/ Memento, colored w/ Copics, masked & sponged in the cloudy sky, then over stamped w/ Versafine. The clouds were done w/ a cloud stencil I made by cutting the cloud shape edge w/ a pair of scallop scissors. I left the bg water white so the entire scene wouldn’t be covered in blue. I added an embossed green layer, the trash bound bow & a pair of die cut white dandelions.
