Christmas Tag Trio

It’s my pleasure to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS671), so a big congrats to Lisa! She has a wonderful gallery & I was inspired by THIS card. I kept the snowman & colors but made mine into a trio of gift tags instead of a card. I used a few other images, as well.

I hope you’re ready for the holidays! I’m about 95% there. Almost all of my presents have been sent, almost all of the cards mailed & I was actually early getting the tree & decorations up. Since I don’t need any more Christmas cards, I thought a few Christmas tags would be helpful. I love Christmas tags & every year I vow to make some, but hardly ever have the time. I also love Prismacolor Pencils on kraft so I’m combining those two. Tags are little quicker to make than cards but like potato chips, you can never have just one. So I picked three images that would fit on the tags, stamped & colored w/ the Prismas, then added a little detail die cutting on the bottom edges. It’s easy & to me, dresses them up a bit. Plus there’s plenty of room on the backside to write To & From.

Serendipity Nov Blog Hop #2!

Happy Thanksgiving & welcome to the Nov #2 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!
Don’t you love this Candy Jar? Wonderful image & so fun to color. After stamping, coloring & die cutting, I added foam layer to pop it up before attaching to the red layer. I found some peppermint paper in the right colors for the background & added the greeting on a stitched circle die cut. I colored & fussy cut some holly (from Bells w/ Holly) to go behind the circle.

Candy Cane Christmas

For the Inspiration Challenge today (IC505), I was inspired by THIS mug. This is also for several Dare to Get Dirty Challenges…Dina’s, Sandee’s & Mine! The details are HERE, but you’ll need to be a Fan Club member…it’s easy, just click to find out how.

I wanted to try something a little different for my card…a divided panel using the greeting as the bridge. I’ve seen it done using die cut letters, so I gave it a try using a stamped greeting. It worked pretty well..it just took a little fancy fussy cutting. The large panels were die cut then I determined how much to remove behind where the greeting would fit. After removing this piece, I attached the top & bottom sections to the greeting. The candy canes were also fussy cut & added to the die cut ovals.

The little ornament topper was die cut & I used Copics to color a circle for the ornament then punched it w/ a circle punch.
