Today we are taking another look at the North Coast Creations December Release! Such fun images for big & little boys!
On my first card, I used the Dump Truck Birthday set. After coloring and die cutting, I added some of the ODBD Patriotic paper and an ODBD Pennant across the top. The die cut banner was stamped w/ letters from the ODBD Pennant Alphabet. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

For my second card, I used the fun I Dig You set. I brown embossed the image on a tan piece of designer paper and fussy cut it. On the brown patterned paper, I used the small stars die (from the Sparkling Stars dies) a number of times across the lower right corner then placed another piece of patterned paper behind it.

A big congrats to Heather, the newest Featured Stamper (FS388) on Splitcoast! She has a wonderful gallery and uses a lot of really cute images. Since I don’t have any of the sweet children or mousie stamps, I went with a Christmas theme card and chose THIS card to case. I kept the Christmas theme and framed image, but I used different images, different colors and used an oval frame instead of a circle.
After stamping, I colored the image & background with Copics, then added some snow with Copic opaque white paint & stamped the Christmas part of the greeting beneath the bells. The turquoise and white frames were die cut & added on top. The Merry banner was die cut & stamped in red w/ the backing layer die cut out of gold card stock. I also die cut some foliage out of the same gold c/s. A gold ribbon & bow were added in the lower left corner. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.
Congrats again, Heather! Thanks so much for stopping by!

For today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT378), we are to use banners. I love banners! I use them a lot for sentiments but this time I just used a banner for the header. It’s a multi-part die w/ several layers for the banner and a bunch of little tassels to go w/ it.
The images are from DRS Designs. The huge sentiment was stamped w/ the cobalt ink on top of the grad cap I stamped w/ the sky ink, and layered a couple of times. The background is a Congrats label/envelope label but I stamped it so the blank middle was behind the main layer and doesn’t show. I inked it w/ the summer sky then used a cobalt marker to highlight a few words here and there. Added the banner layers and tassels and my 4.25 x 5.50 card was finished!
