It’s my pleasure to host the Inspiration Challenge (IC852) this week & I had a lot of fun w/ all the inspiration pics on the DIY Craft Land site. After much browsing, I chose THIS picture to inspire me.
After die cutting the vases & all the little flowers, I put them together & did a little shaping on them. I die cut the white mini slimline panel then die cut the hexagon panel inside it. I started to use a woodgrain panel behind it, like the woodgrain in my inspiration pic, but I just didn’t like it, so I saved it for the plant shelves. I cut some little pieces of brighter colored paper to put behind the openings. The blues I had weren’t quite right, so I used a BG01 Copic to color it & also the edge of the panel behind the main one. Some stickles was added to flower centers & some gems sprinkled around for a little sparkle. The peachy-pink gems were also colored w/ a Copic R14 to match the papers.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
