For today’s Technique Challenge (TLC502) is all about embossing on vellum. Joan must have been reading my mind, lol. I made a card yesterday w/ embossing on vellum…but it’s for a post on Friday, so I made another for today. Since there really isn’t a lot of coloring or anything other than embossing & die cuts, I’m also adding it to the CAS293 to add a little pink.
The ornament, greeting & pinecone were embossed on a piece of vellum & I colored it on the backside w/ Copics. Since vellum is so hard to attach w/o the glue or tape showing, I die cut a frame out of a metallic midnight blue card stock & also some snowflake corner elements to attach on top of the vellum. I added a die cut ornament topper & little bow on top of the ornament. The finished card is just a tad bit larger than 4.25 x 5.50 because of the frame.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
