For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC797), we have a site of colorful rugs. I was inspired by THIS rug for the pretty blue poppies.
To make my card, I stamped the individual poppies, leaves & stems on the main panel then stamped a couple extra poppies. After coloring everything, I die cut the extra poppies w/ their matching dies & popped them up a bit. The main panel was die cut w/ a slimline rectangle & along w/ doing the out of the box on the outsides, I also moved the bottom of the die up & cut the panel shorter (aka resizing). I used regular stitched rectangle dies for the lime & cobalt panels, then cut them narrower to place behind the poppy panel. The greeting was die cut w/ a tag die & for this, I cut one end, turned the die around & cut the other end so both ends would be the same.
Here are the Copics I used for the poppies.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
