Congrats to Jane, the newest Featured Stamper (FS718) on Splitcoast! Jane has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the most of the layout & the lattice element, but I used different stamps, dies & made mine a Christmas card.
For my card, I had this wreath colored quite a while ago, just waiting to be made into a card, so I die cut it, using my out of the box technique (yep.there were a lot of parts out of the box on this one!), & backed it w/ a dk green circle layer. On the lattice, I used a slimline sized die but I only cut it part way, to fill the space I had available on the stitched rectangle cut piece. I’ll let you in on a little secret…the bottom part actually went a little too far. So I glued a narrow strip behind the piece, put it back in the stitched rectangle die, & ran it thru again. The patch is invisible! So don’t despair if this happens to you. After putting it all together, I added some sequins to the lattice & backed it w/ the same dk green.
Here are the Copics I used on the wreath.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

This is such a beautiful card! I love the patching technique, we’ve all had that sort of thing happen and it’s good to know how to fix it.
