  • Leafy Thanksgiving Greetings

    Julie Warner – https://thewritestuff.justwritedesigns.com
There are some fab challenges on Splitcoast today! I’m combining 3 with this card…Free For All (F4A189) Autumn Textures..Mixability (MIX36) anything goes…and HYCCT1301B ..Courage & Strength, use orange or red.

The image is from DRS Designs. The triple image block and greeting are actually all one stamp…I just separated the greeting and stamped it directly on the card front. The blocks were colored, cut out and layered on a black deckled long rectangle.

The bottom looked really empty and I had this big layered leaf punch (it does a whole leaf, the stem, the inside and the border) so I punched a bunch of them, colored them w/ Copics then arranged them as you see w/ a few sequin accents. The card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

  • ODBD October New Release!

Weekly-FavoriteWelcome to the Our Daily Bread designs October Release!

    Julie Warner -https://thewritestuff.justwritedesigns.com

For my first card, I used a brayer and a rainbow ink pad for the leaf background. On the small rectangles, I used a small acrylic paintbrush and bleach to remove the background. The individual leaves were stamped, die cut and colored with Copics to match the background. The greeting was stamped directly on the 4.25 x 5.50 card front and the background strips and die cut leaves were added on top. These are the Copics I used for the die cut leaves.

On my second card, I stamped the pumpkin, colored it with Copics and die cut using the matching die. It’s attached to a die cut ivory rectangle then to a larger dk maroon rectangle. The greeting was stamped directly on a lined ochre piece of designer paper. The dotted dp was die cut then cut in half attached to the left side along with a green Fancy Foliage die cut. I also die cut a couple of the leaves out of the two papers. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50.

  • ODBD Mid Month September Review

    Christmas Bells 2005

Welcome to the ODBD Mid Month Review! The Design Team has a whole bunch of new projects to inspire you using images from the September release!

For my card, after stamping and coloring the image I added a die cut frame. On the greeting oval,  I left the die in place and used a Copic marker to color in the oval before stamping the greeting on top. Two red fancy ornament die cuts were added on top and bottom.  A decorative corner die cut out of forest green was used in the lower left corner. On the lt green dp, I embossed it w/ a holly folder then used the Copic opaque white paint to add dots to it, the main image and the greeting oval The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used to color the image,
