Going Green!

For the Ways to Use It Challenge on Splitcoast (WT469) we are Going Green…using the color green! Since it’s my favorite color, it’s perfect for me and for my St. Paddy’s Day cards.

On my first card, it’s pretty simple, and really only one layer. The hat full of shamrocks, greeting, shamrock border and shamrock corner were all stamped on the same layer and colored with Copics. I trimmed around the edge of the shamrock border and added a narrow strip of green behind it before attaching to my card front. The finished card is 4.25 x 5.50 and these are the Copics I used.

On my second St. Paddy’s Day card, the leprechaun scene was stamped, colored with Copics and I added a rusty brown frame with a large scallop oval cut out around it. I just loved coloring the toadstools these funky colors! The greeting was stamped on the frame and a couple of toadstools and shamrocks were colored, fussy cut and added on top. The finished card is 5.50 x 4.25 and these are the Copics I used.
