Serendipity Oct Blog Hop #1!

Welcome to the Oct #1 Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps!
To make my Thanksgiving card, I stamped & colored the Wheat Sheaf then die cut the white panel. I wanted to add a little something extra so I die cut the 3 small squares along the top, added a tan frame, then added a stamped image from the Retro Starburst set. For the greeting, I stamped part of the little Thanksgiving word then die cut the Greetings & Believe words & did a snip & paste to put them together & make Give. This is also for the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge & THIS was my inspiration.

Snowflake Present

I made this for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club October Christmas Challenge! I’ve been having so much fun being a part of the challenge this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how.

For my Christmas card, I stamped & white embossed the Snowflake Package. I used a reverse mask around it then sponged on the tumbled glass & peacock feathers inks. A lipstick orange Copic was used to carefully fill in the bow & ribbon then I added a little Wink of Stella on top of the red. When I die cut it I did a little out of the box to keep the bow intact.

The large background is also emboss resist & I used some of the many snowflake images from the large bg stamp. I just cut the lg image apart so I could use the ones I wanted more easily. Only the first part of the greeting was used below the present so I put the rest on the inside.

It’s my turn to host the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge (FS608) & I chose Chrissy, aka DanceswithHooves. She has a lovely gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept most of the layout but ended up changing most everything else. Different stamps, dies & colors.
My card started with a leftover background & already colored image (you can see the other one on THIS post). As I’ve probably mentioned, I apparently save everything, lol. I stamped the other little telephone multiple times across the leftover background then used a zigzag border die to cut the bottom & add the black piece. Since most everything else was already made, this was a really quick card.
