Thank You Friend

This is a cozy thank you card in warm, autumn colors and images. The humorous greeting is perfect for that special friend who “gets” your quirky sense of humor.  Since it’s a 2-part greeting, you can always leave the snarky part off and make it plain thank you card. Since the background is a card covering image, it gives you the option to make it any color you choose.

For the Inspiration Challenge IC1089, we are visiting Matawi Teleworks & their Pinterest Boards. THIS tile was my inspiration.

To make my card, I inked up the Woodfolk Bg with several colors of yellow/orange & rust inks. I started w/ an orangish yellow, reinked it w/ a couple of darker oranges & stamped again. The darkest rust was inked, mostly around the edges & stamped again. A Misti is pretty essential for this repeated stamping. After letting it dry a bit, it was die cut w/ the largest plain rectangle. The image & leaves were stamped, colored & die cut w/ their coordinating dies. I used the smaller of the 5×7 Elegant Essentials dies to cut the white shape I put behind the main image. The image, background & greetings were popped up.

Here are the Copics I used:
