Summer is almost over, so time for one more trip to the beach! Here is a really cute beach bag in summery colors, complete with flip flops, a sun hat and sunglasses. The texture on the bag from the die is just perfect!

It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge FS1019, so a big congrats to Tisa! She has sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the basket type element & most of the colors, but I used a beach bag instead of an Easter basket, turned it horizontal & added the partial fence & printed paper in place of the embossed background.

To make my beachy card, I die cut the bag, hat, flip flops & sunglasses out of a speckled ivory, coral, turquoise & teal card stock then pieced them all together. For the lenses of the sunglasses, I used a couple of Prismacolor pencils to color them. A section of fence was cut & I lightly went over the top w/ a white ink pad. More of the tan was used to cut a little sandy mound at the bottom & the beach scene paper was added on the left. A couple of label dies were used for the greeting.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
