Ornate Greeting

It’s never too soon to start your Christmas card making! This ornate Christmas Tree Half panel die makes the card for you. Die cut it in your choice of colors, add a greeting & maybe fill in behind with a little bling, like I did here.

For the IC Challenge (IC1081) we are visiting McGee & CO. & their Pinterest Boards were I foundTHIS.

To make my fairly easy card, I die cut the tree half panels out of heavy white & also white cardboard & glued them together. I wanted a little lift from the card front. The hardest part of this card was deciding the colors. I started to go with red, but had some silver glitter sticker paper & used an RV09 Copic over some of it. It has a plastic coating on top, so neither the paper or the Copic were injured. I liked the deep magenta sparkle with the silver. I die cut the magenta pieces & just trimmed the silver to fit behind the tree part. A small hole punch was used to add the magenta circles to the garland. For the greeting, the script was cut out of the magenta & white for the shadow. I used an extra shadow out of the magenta to put a drop shadow under the greeting.

Thanks s
o much for stopping by!
