Joy Blooms

A big congrats to Patricia, the newest Featured Stamper (FS674) on Splitcoast! And a big welcome to Nancy, our newest Featured Stamper hostess! After much browsing, I chose THIS card to case. I love the bright flowers w/ the black & white so I kept that. I used different images & dies, & instead of the patterned paper, I used a stenciled panel & stamped the greeting on it.

After coloring the brushed flower, I used my into the window technique to die cut an oval to the left side of it. Added a black frame inside the oval & stamped the greeting on a green stenciled bg. On the stenciled bg, I used a Kaleidacolor greens rainbow ink pad to sponge thru the stencil. It was actually something I didn’t use for another project & decided I liked how it looked inside the oval. A few sequins were added for a little sparkle.

Here are the Copics I used on the flower:

  1. What an interesting way to interpret your inspiration piece. Your stenciling is a very unique idea. Love how it is in an oval shape. Another great card!
