Welcome to the June Blog Hop for Serendipity Stamps! If you arrived here from Jenny’s Blog, you are in the right place..if not, you may want to head over there first.
My first card features the super cute little Heart Bouquet. I found a small piece of water color background in my stash & the colors seemed perfect for it. I stamped it w/ Versafine off to the side & used a white gel pen in just a few small areas. A die cut white linen frame was attached on top of it w/ the Love You stamped at the bottom & one small, fussy cut heart at the top. For the larger linen layer, I stamped the Sun Garden image across the bottom & left it uncolored. I drew the very narrow frame around it w/ a ruler & black Micron pen. A couple of narrow black layers were attached under the 2 white linen layers.
As I started my second card, I realized I did not have any wedding or anniversary images or greetings 😯 So I used mostly die cuts out of silver mirror board to go w/ the silver & kraft colored paper I had. The Special Day greeting was silver heat embossed on a piece of plain craft & inserted under the large Congratulations die cut.
The two little hearts beneath the greeting were from the Love die, which I ended up not using here. I love the look of the mirror board die cuts, but it is so hard to photograph!
