I’m having so much fun with this Hot Air Balloon Reverse Background die! I actually made this at the same time I made one I posted last week. (Click on picture below to take you to the post).
But today’s card is quite a bit more involved…a bunch of paper piecing w/ different patterns from the same paper collection. I didn’t have to cut as many papers as you might think…since the paper is double sided & the balloons cut outs are symmetrical, I was able to cut it twice then flip over the pieces to use the reverse side & put them back in. The yellow has the blue flowery print on the other side, and the chevron has the lt blue on the other side. I didn’t put paper inside the clouds so that the white would show through.
Here’s a look at the inside. I trimmed around one of the blue balloon cut outs & added some yellow clouds.
Supplies:
Stamps: Serendipity Stamps – Sending Smile & Happy Birthday greetings (inside) |
Paper: Neenah white, , yellow & blue dp (Authentique- Summer) |
Ink: Versafine onyx (inside) |
Accessories: Serendipity Hot Air Balloon Reverse, Hello dies, Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B, dies |
