Heart Flower Jar

I
was so inspired by Doni’s gallery I made a second, very quick card for the Featured Stamper this week (FS364). This time I cased THIS card of Doni’s. I kept the layout and all the white space, but I used different images, different colors and made mine a Valentine instead of get well.

I stamped the jar, masking out the top, then stamped the heart flowers inside. After coloring with Copics, I added the ribbon like Doni did, but my greeting was smaller so I put it on a separate little strip and used a corner rounder on one end. I added some little rhinestones just ’cause I still get a little worried about all the white space 🙂

Thanks so much for stopping by! Congrats again, Doni!

  1. What a lovely card Julie. The heart flowers are adorable and I love the shading inside the vase – terrific!

  2. Julie I have been working on this jar and flower all morning and I did not manage to mask it well enough to go in the jar … You did a beautiful job accomplishing that. Your card is beautiful! I ended up just using the bouquet! I will post at a later time. Even your water look perfect!

  3. Eeek! You did it! The flowers look amazing in the jar and your coloring is gorgeous!
