The grid background was done by covering the white c/s with some drywall mesh then sponging yellow and orangey inks over it. After removing the mesh, you get this wonderful grid pattern. I added a narrow black border (also trimmed w/ the scissors) near the edge of my 5.5 x 4.25 white card. A checkered bow and Happy Fall tag finished the card.

ink: Ancient Page coal, lemon peel, sunburst
accessories: Spellbinders labels 8, sunflower edge scissors, Tombow markers, ribbon, drywall mesh, sm. corner rounder (for sentiment tag)

The out of the box nesties technique is one of my favorites. It really adds so much to this card. I love the bold use of black to accent this too.
