Lots of changes but we’ll still be bringing you the same wonderful images and designs!

On my first card, I white embossed the sentiment on teal card stock and die cut it w/ a mega oval die. The rest of the framing was die cut w/ the  radiant rectangles dies. I cut two each of the radiant rectangle dies and the oval and sandwiched a piece of vellum in between them so it would look as pretty on the inside as on the outside. I added some pearls to my 6 x 4.50 card.

n my second card, I silver embossed the swirly cake on black card stock and die cut w/ a Labels 4 die. The silver layer behind it was die cut w/ Gold Labels 4 die. I used a white gel pen to color in the little hearts and went over the center hearts w/ a red Micron pen. The black background was stamped w/ white pigment ink using the Brocade Background. I let it dry a bit before sprinkling on white embossing powder and heat embossing it.

Today’s Free For All Challenge on Splitcoast (F4A170) is to repeat something. And since I needed another wedding card (getting to be that time of year, lol), I combined the two. And for my repetition, I gold embossed one window on ivory card stock, and embossed another one using verdigris embossing powder. I die cut the verdigris window and attached the frame on top of the gold embossed window. Some subtle coloring was added to the stained glass using Copic markers.

The images are all from Our Daily Bread designs. The sentiment was also gold embossed and die cut. The window is on top of a die cut quatrefoil background and I attached it on top of a very pale green panel before attaching to my 5.50 x 4.25 card. Little dots from a gold Pearl Pen were added in the centers.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

  • Marbled Window Wedding

The Color Challenge on Splitcoast (CC426) had some pretty colors I thought would look nice in my stained glass window. I needed a wedding card and I thought this fabulous image would be perfect.

Images are from Our Daily Bread designs. The window was black embossed, colored w/ Copics and die cut using the matching ODBD/Spellbinders die. After I die cut it, I realized it would have been much easier to emboss it twice and color only the one I wasn’t going to die cut. I would have saved me from having to put all those window pieces back in place. Oh well. I did die cut another marbled frame and attach it under the embossed one to raise it up a bit from the stained glass pieces. The white die cut window frame was attached around the window and I embossed the background w/ a Cuttlebug folder. The sentiment was also die cut and attached on top of my 4.25 x 5.50 card.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week!
