Spooky Window cu 09739
It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS499) on Splitcoast so a big congrats is in order to Mary, my choice for Featured Stamper! I chose THIS card to case. I kept the Halloween theme & fun window, but I used different images, different colors & put a scene outside my window instead of a pumpkin.

After die cutting the white background, I masked off the upper section & stamped the woodgrain across the bottom, reversed the mask & stamped the stars across the top. I added a little embossed black strip to act as a chair rail, then added the fussy cut potions across the bottom. The window frame was die cut out of black & I stamped part of the branch, spooky house & spider web onto a piece of white just big enough to fit behind the window frame.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used to color the potions & scene inside the window.

Purrfect Easter cu05727
A big Congrats to Kathy, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast! She has such a fun, cute gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept the Easter theme and most of the colors, but I used different images, put my image inside the circle instead of next to it & used an embossing folder instead of designer paper.

Since I don’t really have any cute little kid images, I used this sassy kitty image & paired her with a pair of fun bunny ears. After coloring, I fussy cut the kitty & ears and put her in a circular window opening w/ some textured blue paper behind her. The greeting is a combo of a couple of different ones & I used a stamp positioner to split it up in order to fit the panel. The larger white panel was embossed w/ a lattice like folder & a larger pink panel was added before attaching to the card front.

Here are the Copics I used.

Holiday Window cu 07530

For my first card, I used the gorgeous new Merry Mosaics dies & the new Windowsill Candles. Don’t they elegant in the mirror gold c/s & arranged around the holiday window scene?
Holiday Window 07531
After die cut them in the mirror gold, I also used it for the window frame dies. I used the window background part of the die to cut the scene w/ the Christmas tree from the ODBD Christmas 2014 paper. I added the window to the white brick embossed front, added my layered poinsettia & the little greeting. For the gold backing around the greeting, I used one of the Mini Tag dies, cut one end, then flipped the die around and cut a mirror image end.

Holiday Window side 07538 I love the look of this mirror gold, but it is a BEAR to photograph! It is so shiny & beautiful but it really freaks out the light levels on the camera. Anyway, hopefully you can see it well enough & here’s a look at the inside.

Peace on Earth cu 07549
My second card features the lovely Peaceful Deer set along with the holly part of the Christmas Candle die.
Peace on Earth 07551 After stamping the scene w/ Memento & coloring with Copics, I over stamped w/ Versafine  (it was still in my Misti).I die cut the white frame topper & the dp under layer & attached them on top. I only used one line of the greeting & used one of the smallest matting basics to die cut it. The  Christmas Candle was die cut a few times out of gold metallic paper & I trimmed off the candles &  made a holly spray on top and underneath the scene. Stickles was added to snowy areas for a little sparkle.

Here’s a look at the inside using leftover die cuts from the front & below it are the Copics I used. For the greeting, I stamped the deer w/ Brilliance gold then stamped the greeting on top using the sepia Versafine.
