Welcome to July & to the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club June Christmas Challenge! You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.
For my little Penguin Carolers (& 1 reindeer wannabe), I colored them & die cut w/ the matching die. I also die cut the antlers (from a deer die) to place on the center penguin. From the look he’s getting from the penguin on the left, I don’t think he’s buying the reindeer transformation, lol. After die cutting the circle out of the top of the front panel, I stamped the ornament branch on top of the circle & also on a separate circle. I masked the tiny ornament & sponged some streaks of Distress ink over it.

Here are the Copics I used. (Sorry..I forgot to take a pic of the inside.)

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to March & to the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club March Christmas Challenge! I’m part of the challenge team again this year & the bonus is I’ll have a bunch of Christmas cards finished in plenty of time for Christmas this year. You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself.

For my card, I used this cute little Reindeer image. After coloring & die cutting w/ the matching die, I put him on a tag die cut. I cut another tag out of white glitter & split it down the middle to have some show on either side. The Merry was die cut out of red glitter paper. I die cut two bows &  split the striped one to edge the white glitter one.

Here’s a look at the inside & below it are the Copics I used.

The Sketch Challenge (SC562) on Splitcoast seemed perfect for this little reindeer. I put him in my Misti, stamped w/ Memento, colored him w/ Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine. I masked his antlers & stamped the ornament & branch above him the same way I did Rudolph.

In order to die cut the image, I had to do a little out of the box to keep from cutting off the ornament. I added a black/white Christmas print behind him & also behind the 2 background panels. The greeting was originally on two lines so I used a stamp positioner to move it all onto 1 line to fit the sketch. The white bg was embossed w/ a Christmas knit folder that I edged w/ a black marker before I embossed it.

Here’s a look at the inside using some dp scraps & below it are the Copics I used.
