For the Inspiration Challenge (IC799), we’re headed to Homebnc Pinterest Board where I found THIS picture.

On my card, I’m using some new dies & greetings from Rubbernecker Stamps. I first die cut the large pot our of an alcohol ink bg. It’s a little hard to tell, but it’s pretty shiny & metallic in real life. The stems of all the flowers were cut out of a few greens & the flowers were all cut out of white that sponged different pastel colors of ink on to get all the colors. The bg was cut w/ a couple of slimline dies & I placed a larger turquoise layer behind them. To get the inside frame, I cut the white piece twice, using 2 sizes of the die set, then put middle (frame part) back.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome to March! I made this for the Splitcoast Featured Stamper Challenge &  since it’s Mar 1, time for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club March Christmas Challenge. ! We have a brand new year of Christmas Challenges!  You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself

A big congrats to Maura, the newest Featured Stamper (FS682)! She has such a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS to case. I kept most of the layout & winter theme, but used different images, different dies & different colors.

For my green & gold Christmas card, I pulled out a green & gold alcohol ink background & stamped the Star Flower bg image w/ gold ink & gold embossed it. After die cutting it, I used part of a border die to cut the lower part into two sections. I embossed the greeting using a topiary tapestry embossing powder on the brushed gold layer then attached the green layers on top. Three sizes of brushed gold circles were die cut & I used the same topiary powder to emboss parts of the star flower onto them & popped them up on top.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC741) we’re going to Shop The Manor. After window shopping for quite a while, I came across THIS lovely pillow.  I remembered I had an alcohol ink bg in my stash w/ similar colors so I went w/ the pillow for my inspiration. The bg was done w/ alcohol inks on Yupo paper. After dropping the colors, I spritzed it & also dropped some rubbing alcohol onto it to move the color around a little.

After coloring the daisies, I stamped the greeting then cut it w/ a lg tag die (using my out of the box technique on the left side). The tag die has a separate circle or square hole so you’re able to put it anywhere. I used it to not only cut the hole for the tag, but also cut all the little circles down the side. To make them stand out more, I die cut a bunch of these holes in white then used a 3/8″ circle punch to cut out the stitched hole left behind. These rings were attached on top of the circle cut outs in the colorful bg. A few of the punched out circles were added to the tag. Since the bg wasn’t a full card front size, I attached some stitched strips of white to frame it in & give it a more finished look.

Here are the Copics I used on the daisies.
