Welcome to Day 12 of Tracey McNeely‘s 25 Days of Christmas Tags! I’m here representing Serendipity Stamps w/ an all die cut tag using their beautiful Ornament die along w/ some gorgeous snowflakes from their Snowflake Reverse die. This is also for Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper Challenge (FS510). A big congrats to Jen! I chose THIS to case. I kept the gold & white w/ the gold glitter, but I made a Christmas tag instead of an Anniversary card & I used different papers & different dies.
For my shiny tag, I die cut a white stitched rectangle then die cut the ornament in the center. Another ornament was die cut out of the gold mirror board & I fit into the opening and carefully attached it from the back side. Using the fuse tool, I made a little shaker pouch out of a cellophane bag & filled it w/ sequins & gold micro beads. A foam sheet was attached behind the ornament panel before the shaker pouch was added & the whole thing was attached to first a piece of gold glitter card stock, then to a larger piece of die cut patterned paper. The tag topper was made w/ a tag topper die but it was about half this size so I used my resizing technique to make it twice as big & added a strip of gold glitter c/s. All the little gold snowflakes were added along w/ the die cut Merry.
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Welcome! Today Our Daily Bread designs and CardMaker are teaming up for a fabulous Christmas Blog Hop you won’t want to miss!
For my card today, I used a piece of my favorite paper from the ODBD Christmas Collection 2014 as well as some very glittery card stock. I just love sparkle & shine for the holidays & it doesn’t get much more glittery than this! After I die cut the teal paper using the outer die from the Flourished Star Pattern dies, I used the tiny scallop die from the Leafy Edged Borders to cut off the lower section and let some of the white glitter card stock show through. The Merry & Ornament topper were die cut out of the teal glitter & the ornament back out of the white glitter & I stacked a couple of white die cut Merrys & ornaments under the glitter ones for some dimension.
The Medium Bow & and some Stars were also die cut & added to finish.
Here’s a look at the inside using the cut off piece of dp from the front, a few sparkly stars & a greeting from the Christmas Tunes set.

Today’s Ways to Use It Challenge (WT544) is all about the left hand side. So my ornament image is on the left side of the card & so is the greeting.
After stamping the ornament with Memento, I colored it w/ Copics then over stamped w/ Versafine (using my Misti). The ornament was reverse masked in order to stamp the snowflakes inside, then masked completely to stamp the bare branches & sponge in the background. I used a splatter image to add the snowflakes w/ white ink & I also white embossed them. I added a sparkle flecked gray layer behind the ornament & also behind the fancy die cut on the other side. A little stickles was added for sparkle & a little gray bow.
I didn’t take a pic of the Copics because they were all cool grays…C0, C2, C4, C5, C7.
