It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS576) on Splitcoast, so a big congrats to Susy! After browsing her lovely gallery, I kept coming back to THIS card. I love the white on kraft & layout so I kept those, but I used different images, added a couple more layers & made mine a birthday card.

After stamping & white embossing then I added some pale colors w/ Prismacolor pencils. I added a fussy cut tab w/ the greeting on it & a fussy cut dragonfly on the ribbon. I used a white gel pen to add some dots because I forgot I wanted to add some white splatter before I put the card together 🙂

Here’s a look at the inside.

Supplies:

Stamps: Innovative Stamp Creations – Oriental Nature Elements
Paper:  Staples 110# white, kraft
Ink:   Colorbox frost white pigment (fluid chalk ink used on inside)
Accessories:  Prismacolor pencils,   Lil’ Inker stitched rectangles, Spellbinders A2 matting basics A & B dies, white embossing powder, polka dot tulle ribbon

And also, I have a card I made for the Inspiration Challenge (IC637) because I forgot to post it yesterday.

I was inspired by THIS iris, Be Original. Somewhere along the line, the colors went a little sideways & I think I created a totally different hybrid iris!

After coloring, I did a little out of the box when I die cut it. I was looking thru some old backgrounds I made eons ago & came across part of one made w/ Marvy metallic markers & the colors seemed right.

Here are the Copics I used.

Supplies:

Stamps: Anita’s – Iris,  The Stamps of Life – Back to Basics
Paper:  Staples 110# white, X-Press It white, purple, glossy white
Ink:   Memento tuxedo black, Stazon black
Accessories:  Copic markers Spellbinders A2 matting basics B & circles  dies, Cuttlebug embossing folder (Matelesse), Marvy metallic markers

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Super sketch today at Splitcoast (SC355). For my Snowflakes & Pines card, I’ve used images from Innovative Stamp Creations  Festive Season.  The pines were white embossed onto dk loden green c/s then cut w/ a Spellbinders label die. A larger mat of ivory was cut w/ a larger die from the set. They’re attached to a square of dp, an ivory mat, loden mat and an ivory card.

The sentiment was stamped w/ olive ink and cut w/ a nestie ribbon tag die. Ribbon was inserted through the tag and snowflakes were cut out and attached on top. Holly leaves and more snowflakes were stamped and cut out and branches were punched and all were attached around the top of the tag. Stickles was added on these as well as the trees. A few snowflakes were punched and added to the upper right corner.

Today, I thought I’d try something different. Focus on something I made a while back but for some reason, never made to Splitcoast. The challenge today is Mostly Blue for F4A82.

Mini Ledger from Innovative Stamp Creations

This line is ideal for Artist Trading Cards, when you need a quick Mini-Card! Even accents the pages on a small Mini Book too! The tab image is super easy to use as you’ll see in the sample below you can use almost any of the phrases on the inside of the tab to accent your card, etc!

I made a trio of little mini cards using a technique similar to the one Here. I kept the same general layout and colors for my set of 3×3 mini cards. The main images were stamped with Stazon onto acetate and stickles was added to the back side. The acetate was then attached to the backgrounds which were mad by stamping various elements of the Mini Ledger set and sponging ink around the edges. The notebook edge was done with a spiral punch. The tabs were inked then pressed against the mini ledger ( Kissing Technique) before stamping onto white card stock. This gives just a hint of the lines. The sentiment was then stamped in black inside the tab.

The little chipboard hearts and flower were first pressed against the Kpad (for color) then stickles was added on top.  Finished mini cards measure 3 x 3.
