A fun, fall card featuring a cute little gnome house, some adorable mix & match mushrooms, pumpkins & falling leaves. It’s backed w/ some lovely falling leaves paper,

It’s my turn to host the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS871), so a big congrats to Loretta! She has a sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the house theme & use of designer paper, but I changed it to a fall card, used a gnome house & fall colors.

For my little autumn card, I die cut all the pieces of the gnome tree house in various fall  colors & pieced them all together. I popped the tree house up a bit then added all the die cut little mushrooms in mix & match colors. Some of the mushrooms are popped up a bit for dimension. Then I added some falling leaves here & there. I used a lovely fall leaf paper for the background & after die cutting w/ a stitched rectangle, I also used a circle pierced die on it. I love these piercing dies..I think they’re a great way to add a little interest to your bg papers. A couple of narrow rust colored layers finished it.

    Thanks
    so much for stopping  by!

  • Autumn Gnome

A fall card using some beautiful autumn paper and an adorable little gnome along side a big toadstool. Easy to make..the paper does most of the work & the matching dies for the images do the rest. Just add color to the images & change it up to match your paper.

A big congrats to Netta, the newest Featured Stamper (FS869). She has a sweet little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout, but changed it from Christmas to autumn, used different images, colors & dies.
My cute little gnome & toadstool were colored w/ Copics & die cut. The rust colored band was die cut w/ a mini slimline die, then a herringbone looking piercing die to give it some texture. The Autumn was cut w/ a tag die & I stuck the pointy ends under the rust panel. The main rust panel & the gnome were popped up a bit.

Here are the Copics I used:

  • Santa Gnomes

A Christmas card featuring a pair of cute little Santa Gnomes on an envelope fold flap. Quick & easy to make w/ the coordinating images & dies. Switch up the  papers for many looks.

A big congrats to MariLynn, the newest Featured Stamper (FS857)! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the embossed snowflakes & winter theme, but I changed most everything else: different colors, images, dies & changed up the layout.

After coloring & die cutting the cute gnomes, I die cut the printed paper, first w/ a stitched rectangle, then I used part of another die for the envelope like flap. The paper is double sided, so the pointed flap green section is the back side of the Christmas print. I cut a smaller piece of white & used a snowflake embossing folder on it before attaching it to the green layer.

In case you want to see how I did the partial die cut of the envelope flap, here are a couple of pictures.

I placed the pointed die where I wanted to cut the rectangle. Since the rest of the die is the same size as the stitched rectangle, I knew it wouldn’t cut anywhere else. I placed the top plate just as far as it needed to go to cut the envelope like flap.

This is the finished cut. I later decided I wanted this pointy edge to be stitched as well, so I lined up the corner of a stitched die & ran it thru just on the edge. The gnomes & snowflake were popped up w/ foam.

Here are the Copics I used:
