Starry Gnome

Welcome to November!  And it’s time for the Splitcoaststampers Fan Club November Christmas Challenge! We have a year of new Christmas Challenges!  You’ll need to be Fan Club member but that’s easy…just click the blue link to find out how. Bet you’re wondering what the challenge theme is..I’d love to tell you but you’ll have to go see for yourself. Hint..I’m really loving the new theme for this year. I’m a little bit early for the Christmas Challenge because I’m combining it w/ the Featured Stamper Challenge (FS769) & a big congrats to Jocelyn! She has a beautiful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the slimline Christmas design but used different images, dies & colors. I also used a stencil instead of designer paper.

For my card, I die cut the the white panels & used a new stencil on the smaller layer, with turquoise, lavender & lt blue inks. A narrow turquoise panel was added behind it & the gnome & gift box were colored & die cut w/ their matching dies. A craft knife was used to cut a slit at the top of the box so I could insert the gnome inside & I added fun foam behind to pop it up. The greeting was split above & below & I added 3 colored to match (they were clear & I used some of the same Copics to color them) gems on the top right & some iridescent stars sprinkled around the stenciling.

Here are the Copics I used:

Thanks so much for stopping by!
