A big congrats to Kim, the newest Featured Stamper on Splitcoast! She has a fun little gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept most of the layout, but used different images, dies & colors & left off the designer paper.

For my card, I stamped & colored the calico cat, added the greeting then used a stitched circle die & a little out of the box to keep from chopping off his tail. I’ve never had a cat, but I don’t imagine they like it if you mess w/ their tails. On the turquoise layer, I stamped the coffee bean all over using the 2 darkest browns of the Color Fuse set #3 & used a water brush to drag the color into the bean just a bit. The brown layer was cut w/ the stitched hills & Calico cat was popped up a little using some fun foam.

Here are the Copics I used.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC775), we’re headed to the Eyelet Outlet. They have a lot of fun stuff & I chose THIS for my inspiration. Love all the coffee go cups!

I adore these new coffee cats from Rubbernecker. There’s also a matching die, but I didn’t use it for this. So cute! And the new background images are right up my alley because I love making my own backgrounds. For this card, I used the yellow, orange & cinnamon Color Fuse inks to sponge the gradient color down a white panel. Since it had so much ink on it, I used a heat gun to help dry it before putting it in my Misti & stamping the bg w/ the acorn Versaclair. The cute little coffee cat was also stamped w/ the acorn ink & I water colored it & added a ground line so it wouldn’t look like he was floating.

For the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge (IC771), we’re headed to Stuffed Safari. They have some really cute stuffed critters & was drawn to the bats & cats on THIS page.

My card today is pretty easy. I die cut a white panel then masked off an area on either side & sponged the colors inside the unmasked area. Put it in my Misti & stamped the spooky tree image a few times. Just to give it a little punch & imitate a layer, I added a couple of thin black strips on either side. Stamped the greeting & some bats & done!

Here’s a look at the inside.
