For the Inspiration Challenge (IC721), we have Flags on a Stick. They have some really fun, really nice flags & for my card, I was inspired by THIS Halloween flag. I thought the decorated birdhouses were really cute.
For my Halloween card, I die cut the houses & ghosts out of white, the tree, crows & fence out of black & the tiny pumpkin out of orange. To me it seemed simpler to cut the houses in white & color them instead of cutting a bunch out of different colored paper. The die I used for the birdhouses is actually one multilevel roofline spooky house. I cut it out twice then cut apart the house to make my 3 birdhouses. On the yellow one, I colored the stars thru a stencil. Â I used a 3/8″ circle punch for the holes, colored them black & put them back in. Then I just put all the pieces together on a white front where I had already stamped the greeting frame.
Here are the Copics (& 1 orange Tombow) I used. This may be the first time I’ve used that black Copic!
